Week 5 of the Football Pick ‘Em has come to a close.

As usual, there was plenty of excitement.  Heck, as we all know by now picking the outcomes of these ballgames is anything but dull.

Or easy.

Nevertheless, it’s fun to try to predict the unpredictable nature of Pro Football.  Especially in years with so many upsets and unforeseen developments.

Or is it just me?

Anyways, we did have a competition.  And this week certainly saw many of our players defeated by the upset monster.

But a few heady players did rise above the field.

From the slate of early games, we saw a group flying in tight formation  away from the pack, with just 5 players on that early leaderboard.

Things got more interesting later in the day when the lead changed hands, and that’s where our Champion made the first showing.

Honestly, once the lead baton was grabbed it was never relinquished, making the Monday Night game a mere formality (which almost never happens!).

That’s an off-the-charts degree of difficulty.

Mighty impressive showing for our Week 5 Champion – a new player to boot.

Coming from behind to put a hammerlock on the week is some mighty impressive stuff.  Great way to introduce yourself to the field!
