We Need A Resolution

Forgive me, but the phrase always triggers reference to this Aaliyah hit (well, catchy song).

Anyway, here’s what we know: The NFL has announced that the game will not be resumed this week.  That puts us in a tough spot.

As our weekly competitions tend to reach climax on Monday Night–with that game deciding things–we are left in a state of limbo.

Obviously, the health and recovery of Damar Hamlin is paramount.

This sentiment is foremost.

However

The reality is that there was/is a lot riding on the outcome of the Buffalo/Cincinnati matchup.  And there still is.

For our purposes, we cannot stay unresolved.

Look- calling it straight, you put your money and your faith in The Football Pick ‘Em.

I genuinely appreciate that and take this responsibility seriously.

Please know that I do my absolute best to ensure everything runs smoothly.  And by extension, the goal is for you enjoy yourselves and have fun during the season.

But this scenario has led us into uncharted waters.

So here’s how we’ll square things:

The week is officially over for the pool.  The Winner is

He Wins because he is alone is first place currently.  It’s the simplest way to resolve things.  Congratulations Christian.

Moving forward, things will resume as normal tomorrow (addressed in the announcement last night) and after this weekend The Playoffs will begin.
