Week 5 of the Football Pick ‘Em has come to a close.

As usual, there was plenty of excitement.  Heck (as we all know by now), picking the outcomes of these ballgames is anything but dull.

Or easy.

Nevertheless, it’s fun to try to predict the unpredictable nature of Pro Football.  Especially in years with so many upsets and unforeseen developments.

Or is it just me?

Anyways, we did have a competition.  And this week certainly saw many of our players knocked out by the upset monster.

But a few heady players did rise above the field.

From the slate of early games, we saw a group flying in tight formation  away from the pack, with a jumbled early leaderboard.

Things got more interesting later in the day when the board actually expanded.

But none of that deterred our Champion.

Honestly, once the lead baton was grabbed it was never relinquished, making the Monday Night an all-or-nothing affair for a host of challengers.

But it was not to be.  With the Monday Night Victory, our Week 5 Champion Wins outright!

That’s a nice way to reach the Winner’s Circle.
