We have reached the season’s climax: Championship Sunday.
And it looks like we’re in store for two epic matchups.
For those that don’t follow Pro Football closely, here’s how we got here:
In this round, as many of you already know, both games will be played on Sunday.
That means just like Week 18, this week’s Pick ‘Em will begin & end on Sunday.
No more holding your breath until Monday Night. Once we know the Super Bowl matchup, we will also know Championship Sunday’s Winner.
But this week will be a little different.
Since there are only 2 ballgames, we’ll need to incorporate another tiebreaker.
So for this Sunday, here are the tiebreakers (in order):
- Number of games picked, as usual
- Total points of the seeded teams. Again, just like before
- Total points scored in The NFC Championship, as that is the nightcap
- Correctly calling the point spread of The NFC Championship
- Correctly calling the point spread of The AFC Championship
If you don’t understand the point spread, don’t worry about it. You can look here or watch this video below.
Truthfully, you really don’t have to worry about it, as I already took care of it for ya.
On the sheet, you will notice the question asked below the pick, do you think X team will Win by more than XX points?
If you think so, mark yes. If you don’t, mark no.
In essence, you will be taking either side of the spread.
(in case it comes into play)
I will make a note of it on the Player Sheet, so you don’t need to sweat it.
Sound good?
Good.
Now here’s this week’s sheet:
If you can’t view that file, take a look at this image below
Since the action begins on Sunday I’ll take sheets up through Saturday at Midnight.
And once I have everything, the post will go up sometime around noon on Sunday.
The ballgames don’t start until 3pm, so there will be plenty of time to straighten out any last-minute stuff.
This way you can sit back, eat your popcorn & enjoy the action!
As always, hit me up if you have any questions/concerns. Once again, check out The Playoffs post as there are examples on how this works.
As always, Good Luck folks!
