[Archives] Championship Sunday’s Winner Is…

What a great day of football!

Of course, I’m the typa guy that thinks every Sunday during the season is a great day of football – but I’m still right.

Today’s ballgames proved to be some epic matchups.  Only the fans of the losing teams could be disappointed with those outcomes.

And there’s no doubt that each of the four teams had great seasons.

But only two teams earn the right to advance to The Super Bowl.

Likewise, only one player can Win The Football Pick ‘Em.

And Championship Sunday’s Winner correctly called the eventual AFC & NFC victors, going 2-for-2 on the day.

Of course there were challengers for the pot.  So naturally, we went to tiebreakers.

It was the primary tiebreaker that decided the week (although this week it was the 3rd tiebreaker) with our Champ being the closest, predicting 60 total points scored in the NFC Championship (65  actual points were scored – in our League, it’s whoever’s closest ).

Here’s the reminder for your convenience:

And that’s what decided things.

So the Victor of Championship Sunday, Winning the $600 pot is…
Well, me.

Otis

Look folks; sometimes I Win.  I do play every week and well, it just worked out this way.

I would sincerely like to thank all of you for another great season of the Football Pick’Em.  This truly is a labor of love for me.

Thank you!

Not to be forgotten, here is how Championship Sunday unfolded:
