[Archives] Week 10 Pick Sheet

Welcome to Week 10 my people!

Alright, I’ll cop to it; this one’s coming out late because I’m chillin’ at home on vacation.

You know the deal.  Sleeping late, laying on my ass and taking it easy.
(Yeah right!  More like running around doing all the stuff I’ve put off for the last couple’a months)

I know that doesn’t matter, so let’s get down to business.

Last week’s pot was, shall we say….a little off.  This was addressed in an earlier post during Week 9.  If you missed it, click here.

Basically, the deal here at Football Pick ‘Em is to keep the weekly competition open, fair, and easily accessible (hence the point of running a pool we can all access on our phones).

In other words, your 5 bucks has the same chance of Winning you the pot as does mine.  The ballgames themselves determine that.

I bring this up to make the point that yes, this is gambling on football games.  No two ways about it.

And while it is gambling, this is intended to be fun.  For those of us that love this great game, it gives us an added dimension of enjoyment.  That’s how I see it.

It is worth noting that now all of us love football, but enjoy the competition.  That’s fine too.  I hope you’re having just as much fun.

All in all, whether we have a dozen people or two hundred, I want those of us that participate to have fun doing so.

That’s the focus here.  Now for this week’s sheet:

Week 10 Pick Sheet [86.97 KB]

If you can’t view that file, take a look at this image below

Alright.

So the way this works is the sheet has to be turned in by Thursday at 3pm.

This is so the field can be compiled and posted before Kickoff of that night’s ballgame (since The League Week begins with the TNF game).

Once the field is posted, we’re locked in.  Got it?  Good.

New people, see below:

If this is your first time playing Football Pick ‘Em, welcome aboard!  Here’s how it works.

All you gotta do is fill out the sheet.  You can either download it, print it out, or look at it while you make your selections.  Simply pick the Winning team in each of this week’s games.

Also, make sure to select the total combined points that you think will be scored  in the Monday Night game.  That’s the tiebreaker.

For instance, if you got

Minnesota     31
Chicago          38

Then the total combined points would be 69.  Got it?  Good.  If you need more help, just ask & I gotcha.

That’s it.  Make your picks and give them to me by Thursday 3p.m. EDT.  You can hand them to me, email them, text them (or use smoke signals).  Hell, I don’t care.  Whatever.

Then enjoy the games.  I’ll update the site with the results, so relax and have fun.  That’s what it’s all about.

And the money.
