Week 13: The Field Is Set

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays.

Food, family, & Football.

What beats that?

This year, I’m thankful for several things – family, gainful employment, a home for me and my family, & our Pick’Em community.

All of you have made this time of year fun & enjoyable.

I am thankful that we have a great bunch of hearty football fans that have been a pleasure to enjoy games with.

The relationships that I have built through this medium have been special.  Thank you all.

This has been loads of fun for me; I sincerely hope you’ve had a good time participating.

It has given Gamedays an added boost (if that was even possible).

And for that, I am thankful.

Alright.  Now that I’ve said my piece, let’s take a look at this week’s field.

***REMINDER: Due to the holiday there will be one update at the end of today’s action. ***

For our holiday week, we have a healthy field of 56 players shooting at a pot of $280.

Pot’s right.

Now here’s our field for the week:

FOR THE WEEK

  • the pot is $280
  • there are 56 players
  • There there are no unanimous picks this week, which is probably a good thing.  On this Thanksgiving, our field likes all of the home teams (and Kansas City on Black Friday).
  • The underdog pick of the week has Nisa D taking home dog Carolina to Win their Division Game over Tampa Bay.  Now more than ever, the phrase “Any Given Sunday” is on the money.
  • the reining Champ is Ernest A, who earned the check mark off a strong effort in Week 12.  Great Win, Ernest!

PLEASE NOTE: while I do my best to get each & every pick correct, sometimes I make mistakes.  If I do mess up, just reach out to me (you can leave a comment below the post & I’ll fix it ASAP).  I need to know before the affected game Kicks Off, otherwise, that puts the rest of the field at a competitive disadvantage.  Sound good?

One more thing.  Due to the holiday there will be one update at the end of today’s action.  Things will resume as normal on Sunday.  Thank you.

Enjoy the action, Happy Thanksgiving, & Good Luck.
