December Football has arrived.
The days are short. The chill is in the air. And the football games jump another octave in their intensity.
This is when we see those hot starts fizzle out & the late bloomers catch fire.
For the most part, the stakes in the ballgames jump sky high. And for that matter, they get harder to predict.
Boy is that sayin’ a mouthful!
Anyhow, one quick note: going forward, some of the pick sheets may be different from the ones I send you. (for those that prefer to print out their own)
The reason is that this is the portion of the schedule that gets flexed. In other words, if there’s a matchup that is more compelling than the Sunday Night/Monday Night game, then that better matchup switches with the original game.
Just know that none of the matchups change – just the time the game is played. So whichever sheet you fill out is fine. The ballgames will get played & will count just the same.
It there happen to be any changes and/or postponements, I will be certain to let you know beforehand.
Alright?
Good. Let’s do this.
Week 14 has 54 Players shooting at a pot of $270 for the week.
Pot’s right.
Now, let’s see this week’s field:
FOR THE WEEK
- the pot is $270
- there are 54 players
- there is no unanimous pick this week. That being said, Minnesota, New Orleans, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh are the heavy favorites this week (according to The Field)
- the underdog pick for the week has Otis, (that’s right–ME) taking Road underdog Carolina over host Philadelphia. Why? Because I think they’re gonna Win! Don’t be surprised if I’m right.
- the reining Champ is Beany Y Winning by posting a perfect week — and if that isn’t enough, she had to ultimately take the Victory by the points tiebreaker! Mighty fine week you had there, Beany. Welcome back to The Winners Circle.
ANNOUNCEMENT: while I do my best to get each & every pick correct, sometimes I make mistakes. If I do mess up, just reach out to me (you can leave a comment below the post & I’ll fix it ASAP). I need to know before the affected game Kicks Off, otherwise, that puts the rest of the field at a competitive disadvantage. Sound good?
That’s it. Enjoy the games and Good Luck.
