Week 15 was truly one for the books.
The rescheduled games were a real headache.
Because that happened after the field was set on Thursday, it nullified our tiebreaker (since the Monday Night game wasn’t the closing matchup of the week).
But that wasn’t the only challenge.
After the games ended on Tuesday night, we had a dead heat between two players. And like I said, the normal tiebreaker didn’t apply.
So once again, to the tiebreaker format we went. If you’re new here or haven’t seen it click here.
And quoting our format, since points were out of play, we went to tiebreaker number 2: Winning Percentage.
All that means is I went back and compared picks between the two players, which meant I analyzed all of their picks this season (as both players have participated in every week of the season).
What I did was go through each week, counted each players picks and generated the Win % off that raw data. Real granular shit.
(If you’re interested in looking at those numbers, I placed them in a notepad file you can check out below – the names have been redacted to preserve folks’ privacy)
The point is, this was as close as I have ever seen the weekly competition. Believe it or not, this week was even closer than Week 10.
Anyhow, the point is we do have our Winner.
And as it’s been pointed out, our Champ prevailed in a real dog fight for the top spot.
But based on a strong effort throughout the season, the body of work has earned our Champ a repeat victory.
So without further ado, let’s congratulate our repeat Champion
Jermaine
