Week 16: The Field Is Set

It’s Week 16 people.

And as the book begins to close on the Regular Season, be advised that there will be Playoff Pick ‘Em!

I promise to give you more details on that one (coming soon), but there’s still business to tend to presently.

Once again, we’re close to Kickoff, so let’s run with it.

This week we have 54 players shooting at a pot of $270.  That’s a nice little pot to enjoy before the holiday, right?

Pot’s right.

(for those that don’t know: when wagering moolah, once the pot is considered “right” that means that the Winner can expect to gain that amount.  In other words, the house” is guaranteeing that specific amount in the prize pool.  Regardless of what happens, if you Win you get that money – no excuses)

Here’s the field:

FOR THE WEEK

  • the pot is $270
  • there are 54 players
  • the unanimous pick this week has the field taking Buffalo to take out Division rival New England in New York state
  • the underdog pick this week has Ernest A and T Blount taking home underdog Chicago over Detroit.  That’s a brave one.  Good luck folks!
  • the reining Champ is one of our newcomers Niecy Winning in a nail-biter to earn the Week 15 check mark .  That one went down to the Win percentage to settle things – one of the closest finishes we’ve had this season. Care for a repeat?

ANNOUNCEMENT: while I do my best to get each & every pick correct, sometimes I make mistakes.  If I do mess up, just reach out to me (you can leave a comment below the post & I’ll fix it ASAP).  I need to know before the affected game Kicks Off, otherwise, that puts the rest of the field at a competitive disadvantage.  Sound good?

That’s everything.  And friendly reminder: this week is straightforward, but next week will get a little weird.

The Football will get started on a Wednesday (the holiday), so there’s a really quick turnaround coming soon.

Please be advised that it’ll work just like Thanksgiving: there will be one update after all of the games have finished up that evening.

Got it?  Good.

Enjoy the games (as always), and Good Luck.
