Week 7 has officially come to a close.
And what a week it was.
I think it’s fair to say that The Football Pick’Em has a simple format: pick the team you think is going to Win each Pro Football game in a given week.
Simple, right? Sure.
But boy, it ain’t easy!
Take this week that just finished.
The one unanimous pick by the field–Buffalo–lost in an upset.
Green Bay (another heavy favorite by our field), lost a down-to-the-wire squeaker.
Even tonight, only six souls took Minnesota in tonight’s ballgame and they Won, in a huge upset!
Sure seems like that any given Sunday cliché ain’t so cliché.
In other words, some weeks the competition is stiff due to a few folks getting hot with their picks. Other times, things heat up due to all of the uncertainty across the board.
The latter was the case this go ’round.
Nonetheless, we can expect a Winner to emerge.
This week, our Champ took a curious path to the top.
After starting slow (only going two-for-five out of the gate), our Champ heatted up considerably, hitting the next seven in a row!
That hot streak proved to be the difference, giving us our first lady Champion of the year!
