Another exciting week of The Pick ‘Em has come to a close.

And the competition has been fierce lately!

This week saw the conclusion of the London games for the year (on a paid streaming network, no less) as well as the normal twists and turns of weekly action.

What made this particular competition interesting was how the leaderboard narrowed through the slate of games.

After the Early Games the leaderboard was longer than a shopping list, with a whopping THIRTY SEVEN players in the running.

Talk about anyone’s game!

The late games pruned that tally down to twelve names, as Sunday Night Kickoff approached.

From there it was a wrap.  Our Champion quickly separated from the pack.

Riding that one game lead into Sunday Night, our Week 8 Champion firmly held a grip on the crown that even a Monday Night upset couldn’t break!

That’s a job well done.

So, this Halloween edition of The Football Pick ‘Em was anything but suspenseful.  We knew the identity of our Champion well before tonight’s Kickoff.

Pretty anti-climactic, but such a strong showing is impressive nonetheless.
