Another exciting week of The Pick ‘Em has come to a close.
And this week the competition was fierce!
What made this particular competition interesting was how strong the leaderboard was through the slate of games.
After the Early Games the leaderboard had a four-way tie at the top: with FOUR perfect slates . I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before.
Talk about anyone’s game!
The late games narrowed the field down to our Winner, who commanded the pole position from that point through the end of the race.
Riding that one game lead into Sunday Night, our Week 8 Champion firmly held a grip on the crown that even a Monday Night challenge couldn’t break!
That’s a job well done.
But here’s the strange part–
This is the SECOND year in a row our Champion Won in Week 8!
That really blows my mind. Is it a Halloween thing, or do ya just need a few weeks to get warmed up?
Pretty anti-climactic, but such a strong showing (year-after-year!) is impressive nonetheless.
