[PHEW!] The Offseason is finally over and Pro Football is back! And boy, do we have a monster matchup tonight!
I dunno about you, but I couldn’t wait to get this thing started.
Truth is, judging from the field to open the season, I think we all agree. There’s just nothin’ like Football.
So let’s get it goin’.
How This Works
For you new guys, our concept is simple: pick who you think is gonna Win on Gameday. The person that gets the most right Wins!
Our main rule around here is NO SPLIT POTS!
We have us a series of tiebreakers to determine a sole Winner, ’cause that’s how we roll (click here to check that out).
Sheets are due on Thursdays. I put out this post detailing the field & publish the picks for all to see. Updates are after each round of ballgames. The Monday Night Game decides the week’s champ ¾ of the time.
Once determined, the post declaring The Winner goes up after The Monday Night game. Then, Tuesday morning the new sheets are posted and we do it again.
It’s easy. You’ll get the hang of it.

This week’s field is 46 players deep (we got a healthy turnout to set it off in ’22). That means we’re shooting at a healthy pot of $230.

FOR THE WEEK

- There are no unanimous picks this week, but the majority like Baltimore, KC, Tampa Bay & Denver on Monday Night
- the underdog pick of the week is NYJ at home taking on Baltimore. Two braves souls took that one (good luck Wendel F & Missy)!
- Since this is the 1st Regular Season Game of the year, there is no reining champ. So this special shout out goes to Jermaine & Christian D – last year’s repeat Champions. Outstanding play. Good luck this year guys!
- Lastly, let me take a moment to recognize our lady players. All of you. The gals kicked some serious ass last year, Winning eight of the Regular Season weeks, Championship Sunday in The Playoffs, and three of the 4 quarters of the Super Bowl Squares. Honestly, I was ecstatic with those results because it proves that anyone-male or female-can be successful picking ballgames (just ask Chrissy L). Girl power is real. Go get ’em Ladies!
