Welcome to another exciting week of Football Pick ‘Em!
Time flies when you’re trying to pick ballgames, don’t it?
You know what I’m gonna say -it goes too fast!- but I won’t say it.
Instead, I just wanna enjoy the action. Just like you do.
As prognostication goes, how’re you doing this season?
I can tell you from my side that this bullcrap is totally unpredictable!
I can’t tell you how many times I thought I had a pick nailed, just to have the damn game go the other way on me at the last second (AHEM! Cincinnati, Atlanta).
More power to our Winners, because to nail that many games on a Football Sunday is a feat I have not mastered.
The weekly champs truly do earn their pots.
All of that is to say thank you to our season’s Champions. I appreciate those who can beat the pack on a weekly basis.

This week again sees 78 players shooting at a pot of $390 (one of our biggest so far).
Pot’s right.
(for those that don’t know: when wagering moolah, once the pot is considered “right” that means that the Winner can expect to gain that amount. In other words, “the house” is guaranteeing that specific amount in the prize pool. Regardless of what happens, if you Win you get that money – no excuses)
And here’s our field:
- the pot is $390
- there are 78 players
- again, no unanimous picks this week but an awful lot of folks like Buffalo, Tampa Bay, Indy & KC
- honestly, there really isn’t a notable underdog pick this week. Several players have picked Cleveland, Tennessee & Carolina. The way this year is going, all three teams may Win on Sundaay
- the reining Champ is Earnest A, our second repeat Champion of the season to date. I dunno what’s going on, but you sure are on fire E! Can you possibly hit the trifecta???
ANNOUNCEMENT: while I do my best to get each & every pick correct, sometimes I make mistakes. If I do mess up, just reach out to me (you can leave a comment below the post & I’ll fix it ASAP). I need to know before the affected game Kicks Off, otherwise, that puts the rest of the field at a competitive disadvantage. Sound good?
