Week 9 is here.
With an eighteen week season, these next couple of weeks represent the midway point.
And it’s been a great competition this year! All of the twists and turns, all the upsets, and the unpredictability of these games have made this Football Season truly compelling.
We all know how wacky these ballgames have been, so let’s buckle up for (what looks like) an epic stretch run.
Let’s dive right in.
Week 9 brings us a healthy field. We’ve got 73 players shooting at a $365 pot.
Pot’s right.
(for those that don’t know: when wagering moolah, once the pot is considered “right” that means that the Winner can expect to gain that amount. In other words, “the house” is guaranteeing that specific amount in the prize pool. Regardless of what happens, if you Win you get that money – no excuses)

- there aren’t any unanimous picks this week, but just about everyone likes Dallas at home.
- the underdog pick this week has Crystal J, Kisha, & Brandy J taking visiting Carolina over Green Bay. Good luck to the ladies rolling the dice on this one. We’ll see what happens!
- the reining Champ is Jenny M, who “took command”–to borrow a phrase–in securing the Win. It was quite the nail-biter, squeaking by on points. But hey, a Win’s a Win. Congratulations, Jenny!
