Whatta week!

We were treated to another slate of great, down-to-the-wire action.

There were upsets, twists and turns, and downright mayhem!  You gotta love Pro Football, right?

Let this week prove that anyone who says “picking ballgames is easy” doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

How can you possibly predict this stuff?

Anyways, Week 2 was quite a ride, which led to a swiss cheese looking board (as I’m sure you noticed).

We had a blowout to start the week, & once Sunday hit things got even more interesting.  There were at least 3 big upsets by my count.

And it didn’t stop there, with another upset in the afternoon window.

All this let to a 5-way tie at the top of the board (thanks to Lakisha West for pointing that out.  I got it straight too–good lookin out)

So…that leads us to the question of the day: who Won?

Let’s get into it.

Since all 5 players picked LAR to Win, which they did, we go to our primary tiebreaker: total points scored in the game.

Since that number is 34, that means we now have two players tied with the same total points.
[In the Football Pick’Em, there’s no penalty for going over the score.  Closest to the number Wins.]

With that, we use our tiebreaker format.

Based on this point, we can determine our Champion.

Our Winner was the lead dog for the whole ride, going 12-for-16 in a turbulent week of play.

Week 2’s Winner has been crowned based on correctly calling THREE upsets in a week full of ’em (we used covers.com’s lines for this).

Now, it’s official.  The Winner of The Football Pick ‘Em Week 2 pool is mah man…

Congratulations, Cleve!  You really killed it with the picks this week; way to nail those upsets!!  Thank you for playing.
