WoW – what a Week 3!
Yes indeed, we had another crazy week of football.
These games man, I tell ya.
Who can predict this stuff?
But that’s the beauty of football season. Just when you think you know something, to quote Al Michaels “Nobody knows anything.”
And that’s what makes The Fooball Pick’Em so much fun!
We get an opportunity every week to see who can nail down the impossible: namely predicting the Winners of Pro Football games.
Sometimes, it’s a lotta fun. And sometimes, you have weeks like this.
Not gonna lie; this week we all got humbled. Every single player missed on at least three ballgames.
Let’s face it. Even the layups weren’t layups.
Cleveland Won. Winless Atlanta Won (which killed EVERYBODY). Two undefeated teams lost.
And nobody predicted any of that.
Naturally, that meant we’d have a tight race. Which we did.
This week saw our eventual Champ tied after the games were complete.
Fortunately, the points tiebreaker determined our outcome.
And to be fair, that’s how the competition was settled.
So…Week 3 was settled on points.
As a reminder to our new players, the total points in the Monday Night game is always our official tiebreaker. We only go to the tiebreaker format when that doesn’t resolve things.
Once again, that post is here so you can see for yourself.
With that said, the Winner of the Week 3 Football Pick’Em is
Big Will III
Congratulations Will! I know you were (literally) sweating this one out until the final whistle! Sometimes it’s better to be lucky than good, eh?
With the Victory, Big Will takes home the entire $330 prize pool.
Well done, my friend.
For the rest of us, here’s how the week ended up:
