Week 5 of the Football Pick ‘Em has come to a close.

As usual, there was plenty of excitement.  And we all know by now that picking these ballgames is anything but dull.

Or easy.

Nevertheless, it’s fun to try to predict the unpredictable nature of Pro Football.  Especially in years with so many upsets and unforeseen developments.

Or is it just me?

Anyways—we did have a competition.

And this week we certainly saw plenty of players defeated by the upset monster.

But a few heady players did rise above the field.

From the slate of early games, we saw a group flying in tight formation  away from the pack.

Things got more interesting later in the day when the lead changed hands, and that’s when things got really interesting.

Honestly, once the Sunday Night finished, the board multiplied to a 10-WAY TIE for 1st!

Even though our Champ actually hit on the Monday Night upset–another one(!), he took down the weekly title on the points tiebreaker.

For some of you veteran players, you know how much I preach the importance of those points.  Tonight it determined our Champion.

For the record, this feat was an off-the-charts degree of difficulty.

Mighty impressive showing for our Week 5 Champion – one of our veteran players.

Coming from behind to snatch the Win in a photo finish is some mighty impressive stuff.  That’s a thrilling way to earn the check mark.

Congratulations Osiris!  Great job taking home the Victory mah man.
Well done, and well played.

With the Victory, Osiris (he goes by OWL in competition) earns himself that fat $325 pot.
