As you probably know, there have been postponements affecting two games on this week’s schedule.
At the time of this posting, the Pittsburgh/Tennessee and the New England/Kansas City matchups will not take place today as originally scheduled.
The latest update for the Pittsburgh/Tennessee ballgame suggests that the game has been rescheduled for Sunday October 25th.
The latest update for the New England/Kansas City matchup as of this morning has their ballgame taking place on Monday October 5th (pending no further developments).
What does this mean?
For our purposes, this doesn’t really change anything.
Admittedly, it’s more likely that the week goes to tiebreakers, since one of the games on the schedule won’t count towards this week.
That Pitt/Tenn game will be counted in the Week that it occurs, and everyone’s selection will be posted on the site when that week’s field is published.
If you want to change your pick at that time, you can do so.
As far as the NE/KC game is concerned, since it still scheduled to be played this week, it counts the same as would any other Sunday game.
This means no Monday night rules will be applied to the matchup.
However…
If this game takes place on Tuesday (making it the last game for the week’s slate of games) then tiebreaker rules will be applied to this matchup.
In other words, the last game for the week will determine our Champion.
Going forward, if a rescheduled game takes place after the Monday Nighter, that game will have the tiebreakers applied to it.
Alright. Are we straight?
Good.
