What a week.  When’s the last time you saw a Tuesday Night football game?

And that’s just one unprecedented change in a most unusual season.

Through it all, the show must go on.  And we must crown a Champion.

So here’s how we got there:

With all of the rescheduled games, we ended up doing battle over 14 contests (which isn’t a big deal since we’ve entered the bye week phase of the season).

What is unique about this week’s slate of games is that we didn’t end our week with the Monday Night Matchup, as is the standard.

For that reason the points were not used as a tiebreaker.  Winning Percentage was.

For those that don’t know, the method to break ties can be found here.  All I did was go to the next tiebreaker on the list, and I also posted it so everything is above board.

And man was it close!  But Win % did break the tie.

Also, it’s worth mentioning again that in Football Pick ‘Em the theme for our league is no split pots.  Ever.

Okay.

So our Champion not only emerged with sole possession of the lead Sunday Night, but he held on through an Overtime nailbiter on Monday Night only to be caught by a former Champ on Tuesday (Tennessee Winning sent us to tiebreakers).

But he held on with an outstanding Winning Percentage — taking the Week 5 purse by 3 percentage points!!

Mr. Jeremy C prevailed because he not only had an outstanding week, but he has also been consistently accurate in nailing his picks.  Truth be told, that’s how our Champ Won the $260 Pot.

Just goes to show ya, putting together a string of good weeks can pay — literally.
